At Jasmine Journey Healing Center, our story begins with love, family, and the realization that self-care is essential for nurturing a happy home. Eleven years ago, I welcomed my beautiful daughter, Jasmine, into the world. Like so many parents, I quickly learned how easy it is to pour everything into caring for your children while quietly running yourself into exhaustion.

One evening, while traveling home after visiting family, I found myself reflecting on the weight of parenthood—the constant juggling, the lack of rest, and the longing for meaningful time to reconnect and recharge. I remember thinking how deeply I needed a pause, a moment of care, and a space to simply breathe. That moment planted a seed.

A Sanctuary for Holistic Wellness and Self-Care

As a parent living away from extended family and without a consistent support system, I experienced firsthand the challenge so many families face: finding time to care for themselves while caring for everyone else. From that lived experience, a vision was born—a space designed to support parents in feeling whole again.

In 2023, Jasmine Journey Healing Center opened in Friendswood with the intention of creating a family-centered day spa. As the business grew, it became clear that while families valued wellness deeply, many preferred to arrange their own childcare. This insight allowed the center to evolve into a holistic sanctuary with a focused mission: Caring for Moms in Friendswood, TX.

Why We Believe Healing Starts at Home

Through my journey as a mother, I’ve learned that when moms are supported, rested, and regulated, the entire family benefits. When a mom feels good in her body and grounded in herself, she has more to give—without losing herself in the process.

At Jasmine Journey Healing Center, we believe that healing starts at home. Our mission is to provide a nurturing space where parents—especially mothers—can rest, recharge, and reconnect with themselves, so they can continue showing up for the people they love.

Our mission is brought to life by our dedicated professionals. Led by Alicia Sullivan (Spa Manager & Esthetician), our skilled service team includes Cassandra Jenneman (Lead Massage Therapist), Samantha Castillo (Lead Esthetician), and Katie Tello (Licensed Massage Therapist), and Rosemary Hurtado (Sound Healer & Yoga Instructor). Together, we offer a complete path to wellness through specialized bodywork, clinical skincare, and restorative energy practices.

Founder / Massage Therapist

Amanda Schoby is a holistic wellness enthusiast and a dedicated advocate for energy healing and massage therapy in Friendswood, Texas. As a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT #134841) with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Counseling, Amanda combines clinical knowledge with an intuitive, compassionate approach to healing.

Originally from Las Vegas, Amanda’s journey led her to create Jasmine Journey Healing Center, a sanctuary rooted in providing safe, restorative spaces—especially for mothers—where regulation and reconnection can naturally unfold.

Specialized Family & Pediatric Care

As a devoted mother of three, Amanda understands the unique challenges of parenthood. This lived experience inspired her to become internationally certified in 2023 as a CIMT (Certified Infant Massage Teacher) and CPMT (Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist) through the world-renowned Liddle Kidz Foundation to offer Pediatric Massage Therapy and Infant Massage Classes.

Her work is deeply committed to:

• Maternal Wellness: Supporting moms in avoiding burnout through intentional self-care.

• Pediatric Support: Utilizing her specialized certifications to help the youngest members of our community.
